Pokémon GO Confirms Community Day Dates for the Next Season

Scopely has officially outlined the Community Day schedule for Pokémon GO’s upcoming season, giving players a clear look at major dates running from March through May 2026. While the featured Pokémon have not yet been revealed, the confirmed calendar already shows a busy stretch filled with both returning formats and limited-time events.

Community Day Schedule (March–May 2026)

Four Community Day slots have been confirmed for the season:

  • March 14 – Community Day
  • April 11 – Community Day
  • May 9 – Community Day
  • May 16 – Community Day Classic

The May 16 event will follow the Community Day Classic format, bringing back a previously featured Pokémon. At this time, Scopely has not announced which Pokémon will headline any of these dates.

How Community Days Continue to Work

Community Days remain single-day events focused on one featured Pokémon. During the event window, players can expect:

  • Significantly increased spawn rates
  • Boosted shiny odds
  • Time-limited bonuses tied to catching, evolving, or trading

Earlier in 2026, this format already appeared with:

  • Piplup Community Day Classic on January 4
  • Grookey Community Day on January 18

This confirms that both standard and Classic formats will continue to rotate throughout the year.

Seasonal Events Scheduled So Far

In addition to Community Days, Scopely has confirmed several one-day and weekend events across the season.

March 2026

  • Season Event: March 7–9
  • Research Day: March 21
  • Max Battle Day: March 28

April 2026

  • Raid Day: April 4
  • Hatch Day: April 18
  • Max Battle Day: April 25

May 2026

  • Shadow Raid Day: May 2
  • Raid Day: May 23

More events are expected to be added as the season progresses.

Recent and Ongoing Activity

Leading into the new season, Pokémon GO has remained active with rotating short-term events. The game recently featured High Zaptitude, which included boosted shiny odds for Tadbulb.

Two January events are still part of the current cycle:

  • Precious Pals (starting January 20), introducing Shiny Fidough
  • Into the Depths, adding Generation 9 Pokémon Glimmet

These events continue Scopely’s approach of spacing out new Pokémon releases alongside themed bonuses.

What This Means for Players

The upcoming season offers:

  • Four Community Day opportunities, including one Classic
  • A dense event lineup from March through May
  • Frequent short-format events that reward active participation

While featured Pokémon, bonuses, and exact mechanics have not yet been revealed, the confirmed calendar already gives players plenty of dates to plan around. More details are expected in future in-game announcements as each event approaches.
