Leaked footage from Battlefield 6 has surfaced, offering the clearest look yet at what players can expect from the game’s single-player campaign and multiplayer experience. The new clip shows the explosive finale of a mission set in Tajikistan, where the player is tasked with destroying a massive dam. Despite featuring greybox models and placeholder props, the footage reveals the series’ signature large-scale destruction is back in full force.
The mission appears to be part of a globe-trotting campaign. According to recent datamines, the story will span several major locations including the United States, Egypt, and Gibraltar. While details on the narrative remain limited, the scale and variety of settings suggest a return to Battlefield’s cinematic roots.
In addition to the single-player content, new information has emerged about an upcoming battle royale mode. Sources indicate the mode will take inspiration from Call of Duty: Warzone, incorporating supply drops, mission-based objectives, and persistent team-based gameplay. One major innovation is the rumored “Oversight System,” which allows eliminated players to continue contributing by controlling drones, turrets, or surveillance cameras to support their squad.
Electronic Arts has yet to officially unveil Battlefield 6, but a reveal is expected this summer. The game is planned to release before the end of the company’s current fiscal year, which concludes on March 31, 2026.
More information is expected in the coming months as EA gears up for its next major FPS launch.
