CarX Street continues to have problems with its Leaderboard Races, and players are still waiting for a proper fix.
Despite recent updates to the game, the competitive events remain broken for affected players. Leaderboard races can still appear with incorrect information, fail to properly register results, or simply refuse to function as intended.
At this point, the problem has lasted long enough that it is becoming increasingly frustrating for players who actually want to compete.
Leaderboard Races Still Aren’t Working Properly
The problems surrounding Leaderboard Races are not completely new.
Players have previously reported leaderboard events failing to refresh correctly, expired races remaining available, and other issues affecting the competitive system.
More recent reports indicate that the problems are continuing. Some affected events display a time of 00:00:00, while players can enter a race only to discover that their result has not been properly recorded.
That effectively makes competing pointless.
A leaderboard mode needs one thing above everything else: a functioning leaderboard.
Players Can Race, But Their Results May Not Matter
One of the more frustrating parts of the current situation is that the races themselves may still be accessible.
Players can spend time preparing a car, tuning it, entering an event and attempting to improve their performance. However, if the game fails to correctly register the resulting time or placement, that effort goes nowhere.
Rewards can also become part of the problem when the underlying leaderboard system isn’t working correctly.
For competitive players, Leaderboard Races aren’t just another activity on the map. They’re supposed to provide a reason to optimize builds, improve driving lines and repeatedly attempt events in pursuit of a better position.
When results aren’t reliably recorded, the entire purpose of the mode falls apart.
This Has Been Going On for Too Long
CarX Technologies has previously acknowledged technical problems surrounding Leaderboard Races, but affected players are still encountering issues.
That is becoming difficult to overlook.
CarX Street has continued receiving updates and new content, yet one of its competitive features remains unreliable for some players.
New cars, events and other additions are welcome, but existing systems also need to work.
Leaderboard Races should not remain broken while additional content continues to arrive.
Recent Updates Haven’t Put an End to It
CarX Street received Update 1.15.0 earlier in September, bringing another round of changes and fixes to the game.
Unfortunately, it didn’t mark the end of the ongoing Leaderboard Race problems.
Reports have continued after the update, suggesting that whatever is causing the issue still requires additional work from the developers.
This is particularly disappointing because leaderboard events are exactly the type of repeatable content that can keep players returning between larger updates.
Instead, affected players are left wondering whether their next attempt will even count.
CarX Street Needs a Proper Leaderboard Fix
Temporary problems happen in online games. Servers go down, events break and updates occasionally introduce unexpected bugs.
The important part is how quickly those problems are resolved.
Leaderboard Races have now reached the point where another acknowledgement isn’t really what players need. They need the system fixed and working consistently across supported platforms.
If an event appears on the map, players should be able to enter it, complete it, have their time recorded and receive whatever rewards they earned.
That shouldn’t be a gamble.
Until CarX Technologies delivers a proper fix, players should be aware that CarX Street’s Leaderboard Races may still fail to correctly record times, placements or progression.
Hopefully, the next update finally puts this issue to rest.
