GTA V Story Mode Joins GTA+ Games Library in June Update

Rockstar has added another major title to the GTA+ Games Library, with Grand Theft Auto V Story Mode now available to subscribers at no extra cost. The update went live as part of the June GTA+ refresh, giving members another reason to revisit Los Santos while the wait for Grand Theft Auto 6 continues.

For players who never finished GTA V’s campaign, or those who simply want to return to Michael, Franklin, and Trevor’s story, this is a solid addition to the subscription. GTA V remains one of the biggest games ever released, and adding its Story Mode to GTA+ makes the service feel more valuable than a simple monthly GTA Online perk package.

GTA V Story Mode Is Now Part of GTA+

With this update, GTA+ members can access GTA V’s single-player campaign through the Games Library. PC Enhanced members can also launch GTA Online through the same library, making the service more convenient for players who use the newer version of the game.

The timing also makes sense. With Grand Theft Auto 6 currently set for November 19, 2026, many players may want to replay GTA V before Rockstar’s next major release arrives. For newer players, it also offers a cheaper way to experience the story without buying the game separately.

June GTA+ Perks Include the Ocelot Stromberg

The June update also brings a new batch of GTA Online rewards. GTA+ members can claim the Ocelot Stromberg for free at The Vinewood Car Club until July 13. The vehicle is one of GTA Online’s more unique options, functioning as both a weaponized sports car and an underwater vehicle.

Members also receive free Teal/Purple Flip Chameleon Paint, matching Wheel Paint, the Feud Baseball Jersey, and Independence Day-themed clothing items.

Hangar Discounts and Bonus Rewards

This month’s GTA+ bonuses are heavily focused on smuggling and hidden rewards. Members get 60% off Hangars, making it a strong month for anyone who still wants to expand their aircraft storage or invest in smuggling-related content.

Smuggler Sell Missions and Know Way Out are paying double rewards, while Hidden G’s Cache rewards have been increased by five times. For regular GTA Online players, these bonuses make the June update more than just a library refresh.

GTA+ Keeps Expanding Its Games Library

The GTA+ Games Library now includes several Rockstar titles, including Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire, Bully, GTA Online, GTA V Story Mode, and multiple classic GTA releases. While the service still depends heavily on how often someone plays GTA Online, the library has slowly become a bigger part of the subscription’s value.

Adding GTA V Story Mode is easily one of the most recognizable additions so far. It gives subscribers access to one of Rockstar’s most successful games ever, while also keeping players connected to the franchise ahead of GTA 6.

For active GTA Online players, June is a decent month for GTA+. For anyone who has been looking for an excuse to replay GTA V’s campaign, it may be one of the better months to subscribe.
