LEGO Great Deku Tree Set Sells Out Following Ocarina of Time Remake Reveal

The first-ever LEGO set based on The Legend of Zelda has officially sold out on the LEGO Shop, arriving at a time when excitement surrounding the franchise is once again reaching new heights. With Nintendo recently confirming The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake for the Nintendo Switch 2, demand for Zelda-themed collectibles appears to be increasing rapidly.

LEGO’s Great Deku Tree Set Leaves the LEGO Store

After nearly two years on sale, LEGO’s Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 set is no longer available through the official LEGO Shop. The retirement had been anticipated, as the set previously appeared on LEGO’s “Retiring Soon” list, but the timing has drawn additional attention from fans following the reveal of the Ocarina of Time remake.

The set represents one of the most iconic locations in Zelda history and offers builders two display options: the Great Deku Tree from Ocarina of Time and the version seen in Breath of the Wild.

A Celebration of Multiple Zelda Eras

Containing roughly 2,500 pieces, the set includes four minifigures and numerous references to the series. Fans can recreate memorable moments with accessories and details such as:

  • The Master Sword
  • The Hylian Shield
  • The Ocarina of Time
  • Navi
  • Skulltulas
  • Koroks
  • Link’s house

By combining elements from different generations of the franchise, the set serves as both a collector’s piece and a tribute to the long history of The Legend of Zelda.

Retailers Still Have Remaining Stock

Although the official LEGO Shop has sold out, some retailers are reportedly still offering the set at its original $299.99 price. However, availability is expected to become increasingly limited as remaining inventory disappears.

Once retailer stock runs dry, collectors will likely turn to resale markets, where prices often increase significantly for retired LEGO sets.

Ocarina of Time Remake Adds New Interest

The recent announcement of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake has renewed interest in one of the franchise’s most beloved adventures. Since the Great Deku Tree plays a major role in the opening hours of the game, the LEGO set’s connection to the remake has made it even more appealing to longtime fans.

With nostalgia surrounding Ocarina of Time stronger than ever, the sold-out set could become one of the more sought-after Zelda collectibles in the years ahead.
