Microsoft has kicked off the first half of June with a steady stream of new additions to Xbox Game Pass, including a surprise return, several day-one launches, and more titles scheduled to arrive throughout the month.
The latest lineup highlights Microsoft’s ongoing strategy of balancing established favorites with brand-new releases, giving subscribers a wide variety of experiences across console, PC, and cloud gaming.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Makes an Unexpected Comeback
One of the biggest surprises came with the return of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty on June 7. The action RPG was previously removed from Xbox Game Pass in February 2025, leading many players to assume it would not return anytime soon.
Instead, the title quietly rejoined the service for Ultimate, PC, and Premium subscribers across cloud, console, and PC platforms. Its return comes at an interesting time, arriving just before the announcement of a sequel during the 2026 Xbox Games Showcase.
For players who missed the game during its original Game Pass run, this provides another opportunity to experience Team Ninja’s fast-paced action RPG.
Solarpunk Launches Day One on Game Pass
Joining the service on June 8, Solarpunk arrived as a day-one release for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC subscribers.
The game offers a different experience from traditional survival titles. Instead of focusing on harsh environments and constant conflict, Solarpunk embraces a more relaxed and cooperative approach to survival gameplay.
Players can explore a colorful open world using customizable airships, build automated systems powered by solar energy, and use drones to assist with resource gathering and construction. The game also places a strong emphasis on living alongside nature rather than exploiting it, creating a unique atmosphere within the survival genre.
Undisputed Expands the Sports Lineup
Boxing fans also received a new addition with Undisputed joining the Game Pass library on June 8.
The title gained attention following its late-2024 release thanks to its realistic boxing mechanics and career progression systems. Many players praised the game’s preparation and training features, which add an RPG-like element to the boxing experience.
While some criticism was directed at certain animations and commentary presentation, the game has maintained a dedicated player base. Interest in the franchise increased further after the developer announced Undisputed 2 earlier this year.
More Games Arriving Throughout June
The additions do not stop there. Microsoft has already confirmed several more releases for the coming weeks.
Persona 5 Royal is scheduled to return on June 9, giving subscribers another chance to experience one of the most acclaimed JRPGs of recent years.
June 11 will bring three day-one launches:
- Beastro
- Frog Sqwad
- Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions
Later in the month, Junkster arrives as another day-one release on June 16.
The second wave of June content is expected to continue on June 17 with the arrival of Shift at Midnight and Denshattack.
Microsoft Continues to Focus on Subscription Value
The latest Xbox Game Pass update demonstrates Microsoft’s continued focus on delivering value through a combination of returning favorites and brand-new launches.
By mixing surprise catalog additions such as Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty with day-one releases like Solarpunk, Microsoft is keeping the service active throughout the month rather than relying on a single large content drop.
With several more titles still scheduled for June, Game Pass subscribers have plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead.
