Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 2 Adds Free Rewards for PS Plus Players

Season 2 of Overwatch’s Reign of Talon has officially launched, bringing a fresh wave of content alongside a set of free rewards that players can claim with minimal effort. The highlight this time is the Venus Moira Bonus Pack, available at no extra cost for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

This bundle offers both cosmetic value and progression boosts, making it one of the more appealing seasonal giveaways tied to the game’s ongoing live-service updates.

Free Venus Moira Skin and Tier Skips

PlayStation Plus subscribers can now unlock the Legendary Venus Moira skin, a cosmetic that originally debuted during Overwatch’s fifth anniversary event in 2021. While the skin has previously been available through in-game currency or loot boxes, this marks an opportunity to obtain it instantly without spending credits.

Alongside the skin, players also receive five Battle Pass Tier Skips, providing a direct boost to seasonal progression. Once claimed, all rewards are automatically credited to the player’s linked Overwatch account, removing the need for manual redemption steps beyond the initial claim.

How to Claim the Bonus Pack

To access the bundle, players must have an active PlayStation Plus subscription and ensure their PlayStation account is linked to their Battle.net profile. After that, the Venus Moira Bonus Pack can be downloaded directly from the PlayStation Store on console.

While no official expiration date has been listed, current expectations suggest the offer will remain available until the launch of Season 3, which is scheduled for June 16. Players interested in the rewards should still claim them sooner rather than later to avoid missing out if timelines shift.

Season 2 Continues Overwatch’s Live-Service Momentum

Reign of Talon Season 2, titled Summit, launched on April 14 and builds on the foundation set by Season 1 earlier this year. Blizzard continues to follow a consistent update cadence, introducing new cosmetics, events, and progression systems designed to keep engagement high across its player base.

The inclusion of previously released cosmetics like Venus Moira also reflects a broader trend of recycling legacy content in a more accessible format, allowing newer players to expand their collections without relying on random drops.

Twitch Drops Add Even More Free Content

In addition to the PlayStation-exclusive bundle, players across all platforms can earn extra rewards through Twitch Drops. By watching Overwatch streams for a total of eight hours before May 11, players can unlock weapon charms such as Wolf Pup and Lilith Blade, along with both a Common and Epic Loot Box.

Recent issues with Twitch Drops caused some rewards to reset for players, but Blizzard has addressed the situation by allowing users to reclaim their items. As compensation, an additional Battle Pass Tier Skip has also been granted, providing extra incentive to participate in the event.

More Free Bundles Likely on the Way

This is not the first time Overwatch has offered PlayStation Plus-exclusive bundles. Previous seasons included cosmetics like Null Sector Orisa, Slasher: 76, and Gwishin Bastion. Based on this pattern, another bundle is likely to arrive once Season 3 begins, continuing the cycle of platform-specific rewards.

For players invested in Overwatch’s seasonal content, these recurring giveaways have become a reliable way to gain cosmetics and progression boosts without additional cost.
