Running a strong community takes more than just passion — it takes people who care, who show up, and who genuinely want to make a difference. As GamingHQ continues to grow, we’re officially opening the door for new staff members to join our team and help shape the future of our community.
This is not just about filling roles. This is about building a team that shares the same mindset: keeping the community safe, welcoming, active, and fun for everyone.
If you’ve ever wanted to be more involved behind the scenes, this is your moment.
Why We’re Expanding the Team
Over the past years, GamingHQ has grown into more than just a place to talk about games. It has become a space where players connect, help each other, share projects, host events, and build friendships.
With that growth comes responsibility.
More members means:
- More conversations to guide
- More questions to answer
- More events to organize
- More support needed for moderation and structure
To keep the quality of the community high, we need dedicated people who are willing to step up and help carry that responsibility with us.
Who We’re Looking For
We are not searching for perfection. We are searching for reliability, respect, and motivation.
You might be a great fit if you:
- Enjoy helping others and solving problems
- Can stay calm in stressful or heated situations
- Respect different opinions and backgrounds
- Are active enough to stay involved with the community
- Care about fairness more than power
Experience is nice to have, but not required. The right mindset matters more than a fancy résumé.

What You Gain From Joining the Team
Being a staff member is voluntary, but it comes with real value.
You will gain:
- Hands-on experience in community management
- A chance to build leadership and communication skills
- A stronger voice in how GamingHQ evolves
- Recognition for your contributions
- A place in a team that actually works together
For many, this kind of experience also looks great on a future portfolio or CV — especially if you’re interested in moderation, community work, or digital media.
Our Expectations From Staff
To keep things fair and professional, we do have clear expectations:
- Be respectful at all times
- Follow the same rules you help enforce
- Stay active and communicate when you’re unavailable
- Handle issues privately, not publicly
- Represent GamingHQ in a positive way
Staff positions are built on trust. That trust is earned through consistency, not titles.
How the Application Process Works
We want this process to be simple and transparent.
When you apply, we look at:
- Your activity in the community
- Your attitude toward others
- Your motivation for joining
- Your availability and reliability
There are no trick questions and no unnecessary barriers. We want to get to know you, not test you.
Selected applicants may start with a trial period, giving both you and the team time to see if the role feels right.
A Message From the Team
GamingHQ has always been built by its community, not just for it. Every guide written, every event hosted, every discussion moderated — all of it exists because people cared enough to contribute.
If you’ve ever felt like:
“I want to do more here,”
this is your chance.
Not everyone joins a community and helps shape it. Staff members do.
Ready to Step Up?
If you believe you can make GamingHQ better — even in a small way — we would love to hear from you.
New voices bring new energy.
New team members bring new ideas.
And together, we keep this community moving forward.
GamingHQ is growing — and we want you to grow with us.
