Steam players have another opportunity to try a game without spending money. This weekend, the open-world zombie survival game DeadPoly is available to play for free until October 26, 2026.
The promotion gives PC gamers a chance to explore the game before deciding whether to purchase it.
What Is DeadPoly?
Developed by TFL Games, DeadPoly is an open-world zombie survival game featuring low-poly graphics, scavenging, crafting, and base building.
Players must survive in a world overrun by zombies while gathering supplies and establishing a safe place to live.
Unlike traditional zombie shooters, DeadPoly places considerable emphasis on survival and preparation. Finding resources, managing equipment, and defending your base are important parts of the experience.
Players can also explore the environment, collect weapons, and work toward improving their chances of survival.
DeadPoly Is Free Until October 26
The free weekend promotion runs from October 22 through October 26, 2026.
During this period, Steam users can download DeadPoly and experience the game without purchasing it.
However, there is an important distinction between a free weekend and a permanent giveaway.
DeadPoly is free to play temporarily, not free to keep.
Once the promotion ends, players will need to purchase the game to continue playing.
A Good Opportunity for Survival Fans
Survival games often require a significant time investment, especially when base building and resource gathering are involved.
Free weekends allow players to test these mechanics before committing their money.
For gamers who enjoy zombie survival, crafting, and open-world exploration, DeadPoly could be worth trying.
The promotion also provides an opportunity for friends and gaming communities to experience the game together without everyone needing to purchase a copy immediately.
Don’t Miss the Deadline
Players interested in DeadPoly should take advantage of the promotion before October 26.
After the free weekend ends, normal purchase requirements will return.
For anyone looking for something different to play this weekend, DeadPoly offers a temporary escape into a zombie-infested world without an upfront cost.
