GamingHQ Enjoys Early Playtest of A Game About Digging a Hole Together

Sometimes, the simplest game concepts turn into surprisingly entertaining experiences. Yesterday, October 10, GamingHQ had the opportunity to playtest A Game About Digging a Hole Together, the sequel to A Game About Digging a Hole.

While we would love to share more about our experience, there is one important detail: we are currently under a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). That means we cannot reveal gameplay details, discuss what happened during our session, or publish screenshots and videos.

However, we can share one thing: we genuinely enjoyed our time playtesting the game!

A Sequel We Were Happy to Try

The original A Game About Digging a Hole proved that a straightforward concept can capture players’ attention. Its unusual premise helped it stand out among more complicated gaming experiences.

Naturally, we were curious about what the sequel might bring to the table.

Getting the opportunity to participate in an early playtest was something we appreciated. Our team had a great time together, and we’re grateful that we could experience the project ahead of its wider release.

Respecting the NDA

As much as we enjoy sharing our gaming experiences with the GamingHQ community, respecting developers and their confidentiality agreements remains important.

For that reason, we won’t discuss any mechanics, features, content, or events from our playtest. We also won’t share screenshots, recordings, or other materials from the session.

We understand that players may have plenty of questions about the sequel. Unfortunately, those questions will have to wait until the developers officially reveal more information.

Looking Forward to What’s Next

Our experience with A Game About Digging a Hole Together left us happy to have participated in the playtest.

We want to thank the development team for giving GamingHQ the opportunity to participate. It’s always a pleasure to experience upcoming projects and support the people working behind them.

For now, our lips are sealed. Once we’re allowed to discuss more, we hope to share additional coverage with our community.

Until then, we’ll leave the digging to the developers!
