Pokémon Winds and Waves Leak Reveals More About Gen 10 Starters

A new Pokémon Winds and Waves leak may have revealed how players will meet the three Generation 10 starter Pokémon. The latest information also appears to support details that previously surfaced through the massive Pokémon TeraLeak.

Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua have already attracted plenty of attention from Pokémon fans. However, very little is officially known about how the three starters will become part of the player’s adventure.

The latest leaked dialogue may finally provide another piece of that puzzle.

New Pokémon Winds and Waves Dialogue Leaks

According to information shared by Centro Leaks, dialogue from the introduction of Pokémon Winds and Waves has appeared online.

The leaked sequence reportedly follows the player as they travel by plane before eventually landing at an airport on the first island.

On its own, an airport might not sound particularly important. However, its location becomes much more interesting when compared with information from the earlier TeraLeak.

That leak claimed players would encounter all three starter Pokémon during a traffic jam. The player would apparently need to catch Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua before eventually choosing which Pokémon becomes their main starter.

Taxis were also reportedly involved in the sequence.

The newly leaked airport dialogue could provide the missing context.

The Gen 10 Starter Adventure Could Begin at the Airport

If both leaks describe the same sequence, the opening of Pokémon Winds and Waves could begin shortly after the player’s plane lands.

A traffic jam outside the airport would explain why taxis reportedly play a role in the starter encounter. It could also create a natural introduction to catching Pokémon before players are allowed to explore the first island properly.

Instead of simply receiving a Pokémon from a professor, players may therefore have to actively catch all three starters.

After completing the sequence, the player would reportedly travel toward the main area of the island.

Previous leaks have described a large resort hotel as one of the area’s major landmarks. The hotel could also contain several MMO-inspired features, although these details remain unconfirmed.

Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua Lead Generation 10

The three reported Generation 10 starters are Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua.

Fans have already created countless concepts for their possible evolutions, but their complete evolution lines have not been officially revealed.

The unusual introduction could make them particularly memorable. Pokémon games traditionally introduce starters through a professor, another major character, or a scripted choice between three Poké Balls.

Having players encounter and catch all three Pokémon during a chaotic traffic jam would be a significant change to that formula.

It could also allow players to spend a short amount of time with each Pokémon before deciding which one they want to keep as their starter.

However, the exact mechanics remain unclear.

Pokémon Winds and Waves May Still Be More Than a Year Away

Fans expecting another major Pokémon Winds and Waves presentation during the Pokémon World Championships 2026 were left waiting.

That absence has added more attention to previous reports suggesting the Generation 10 games are planned for late 2027.

Earlier leaks claimed Pokémon Winds and Waves could launch sometime between September and November 2027. The final timing may reportedly depend on Nintendo’s release plans for an unannounced 3D Mario title.

No official release date has been announced.

If the late-2027 reports prove accurate, Pokémon Day 2027 could become the next major opportunity for The Pokémon Company to reveal more information.

Leaks Should Still Be Treated With Caution

While the latest dialogue appears to line up with information from the earlier TeraLeak, these details should still be treated as unofficial.

Development plans can change, and leaked material does not guarantee that every feature will appear in the finished game.

Still, the connection between the airport, traffic jam, taxis, and the three starter Pokémon provides a much clearer picture of how Pokémon Winds and Waves could begin.

If the leaks are accurate, Generation 10 may skip the traditional starter handout entirely.

Instead, players could land on a new island and immediately find themselves chasing Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua through an airport traffic jam.
