PlayStation Plus subscribers have plenty to look forward to over the next week. Sony is wrapping up its July 2026 PlayStation Plus Extra lineup, preparing the August Essential games, and giving every PS Plus subscriber a free bonus pack for the upcoming fighting game Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.
Whether you’re subscribed to Essential, Extra, or Premium, there will be new games and exclusive content to claim throughout early August.
July PlayStation Plus Extra Games Available Now
PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members can already download the final wave of July additions. These games have joined the Game Catalog:
- Dying Light
- Snow Bros. Wonderland
- Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector
- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
Subscribers with an active Extra or Premium membership can download and play these titles as long as they remain part of the Game Catalog.
PlayStation Plus Essential Games for August 2026
Starting August 4, Sony will refresh the monthly PlayStation Plus Essential lineup.
Players can claim the following games:
- Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition
- Big Walk
- Signalis
Once claimed during the monthly availability period, these games remain in your library as long as you keep an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
Free Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Pack Arrives August 6
Sony is also giving every PlayStation Plus subscriber a free content pack for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.
Unlike many promotional offers, this bonus is available to all PlayStation Plus tiers, including:
- PlayStation Plus Essential
- PlayStation Plus Extra
- PlayStation Plus Premium
The pack becomes available on August 6, 2026, and can be claimed until August 6, 2027.
Everything Included in the Marvel Tokon PS Plus Pack
The bonus pack contains cosmetic rewards for players jumping into Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.
Five Exclusive Avatars
Subscribers receive profile avatars featuring:
- Captain America
- Storm
- Spider-Man
- Doctor Doom
- Ghost Rider
Twenty Character Result-Screen Poses
The download also unlocks 20 result-screen poses for use inside the game.
Characters featured include:
- Spider-Man
- Ms. Marvel
- Star-Lord
- Peni Parker
Additional poses are included as part of the complete pack.
How to Claim the Bonus
Players can redeem the Marvel Tokon PlayStation Plus Pack through the PlayStation Store or directly from the PlayStation Plus section on Sony’s website.
After downloading:
- Avatars become available in your PlayStation profile settings.
- Result-screen poses unlock automatically inside Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.
More Content Is Already Planned
The PlayStation Plus bonus is relatively small, but it gives subscribers extra cosmetic rewards at no additional cost.
Sony has already confirmed that Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will receive post-launch support, with additional DLC characters such as Phoenix and Cyclops planned after release.
Since online multiplayer requires at least a PlayStation Plus Essential subscription, many players picking up the fighter will already be eligible to claim the bonus pack.
A Busy Start to August
Early August is shaping up to be one of the busiest weeks for PlayStation Plus subscribers this summer. Extra and Premium members can already enjoy the latest Game Catalog additions, Essential members will receive three new monthly games on August 4, and every subscriber can grab the free Marvel Tokon bonus pack beginning August 6.
