PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers are approaching another round of catalog changes, with twelve games currently scheduled to leave the service in July 2026. While Sony recently changed how new additions are delivered, the removal schedule appears to remain unchanged, meaning all departing titles will disappear from the catalog at the same time later this month.
Sony Changes How New PS Plus Games Are Added
For years, Sony traditionally released its monthly PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium additions in a single batch. However, beginning in June 2026, the company adopted a new approach by staggering releases throughout the month.
Instead of one large drop, subscribers now receive smaller weekly waves, with two titles arriving every Tuesday. Despite this adjustment, the departure schedule remains unchanged, with games continuing to rotate out once per month.
Games Leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in July 2026
The following titles are currently scheduled to leave the service in late July:
- Bomber Crew (PS4)
- Clash: Artifacts of Chaos (PS5, PS4)
- Cursed to Golf (PS5, PS4)
- Get Even (PS4)
- Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator (PS5, PS4)
- Infinite Minigolf (PS4)
- Onee Chanbara Origin (PS4)
- Risk of Rain 2 (PS5, PS4)
- Roki (PS5, PS4)
- Source of Madness (PS5, PS4)
- Space Crew: Legendary Edition (PS4)
- Tropico 6 (PS5, PS4)
Subscribers still have roughly a month to experience these titles before they disappear from the catalog.
Several Hidden Gems Are Worth Playing Before They Go
Although July’s departures are largely made up of smaller and lesser-known games, there are still some standout titles among the group.
Risk of Rain 2 remains one of the most popular co-op roguelikes available and offers dozens of hours of replayability with friends. Meanwhile, Tropico 6 continues to be a favorite among strategy fans thanks to its unique blend of city-building and political management.
Players looking for something different may also want to check out Get Even, an underrated psychological thriller with a distinctive atmosphere, while Cursed to Golf combines roguelike mechanics with golf in a surprisingly entertaining way.
June’s Departures Upset Some Subscribers
June 2026 saw several notable games leave PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. Among the biggest departures was Red Dead Redemption, which exited the service after spending a considerable amount of time in the catalog.
Other removals included Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game and We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie, disappointing fans who had hoped to keep access to those titles for longer.
As with previous Rockstar releases, there is always the possibility that some games could return to the catalog in the future.
More Big Releases Are Already Planned
Despite July’s departures, PlayStation Plus subscribers have several upcoming additions to look forward to later this year.
Sony has already confirmed that Big Walk and Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams will arrive through PlayStation Plus Essential in August. Looking ahead to September, co-op fans can expect RuneScape: Dragonwilds to join the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog.
With July just beginning, subscribers can also expect additional announcements regarding new additions to the service in the coming weeks.
