Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has received another post-launch update, with a new hotfix deployed on November 24 addressing issues across Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies. The update is available on all platforms and focuses exclusively on fixing bugs, polishing UI elements, and improving overall game stability.
Since its launch on November 14, Black Ops 7 has been receiving continuous support with frequent balance changes and quality-of-life updates. Treyarch has responded quickly to early player feedback, including a recent adjustment to Rotational Aim Assist that reduced the penalty at range from 35% to 25%. This newest hotfix continues that rapid patch cycle with more targeted improvements.
Multiplayer Challenge Tracking and Scorestreak Fixes
Players working through Multiplayer Challenges will notice significant improvements to medal tracking. The grace window for earning “Low Blow” and “Dive Shot” Medals after sliding or diving has been increased, making the related challenge far easier to complete.
Scorestreak menu errors have also been corrected, specifically an issue where Overclocks for the Legion Scorestreak were displayed in the wrong order. Additional stability tweaks aim to reduce crash occurrences across standard matches and competitive modes.
Zombies Receives Challenge Fixes and Dead Ops Arcade Adjustments
Zombies mode receives a number of important fixes, including a correction to an issue where Sticky Grenades were not counting toward a Daily Challenge requiring 25 equipment kills. This issue prevented many players from completing their daily rotation.
Treyarch has also removed the Daily Challenge requiring players to eliminate five Special Zombies. No explanation was provided, but the challenge is no longer in the pool.
Dead Ops Arcade 4 receives a fix for an exploit where players could unintentionally earn an Achievement by saving and quitting during the Papaback Boss Fight. The mode also benefits from general stability improvements.
Campaign Fixes Improve Weapon Handling and UI Consistency
For Campaign and Co-Op players, the Exposure mission’s Kinetic Jump tutorial now has no ability cooldown, preventing unnecessary delays during mission progression.
Several Gunsmith-related issues have been corrected, including inaccurate magazine totals and errors caused by picking up customized versions of the same weapon type. UI elements tied to reticle unlocks and camo progress have also been updated so they display correctly in the After-Action Report.
As with the other modes, the Campaign section receives multiple stability enhancements to reduce mission-related crashes.
Season 1 Launches December 4
Although this update focuses strictly on stability and bug fixing, Black Ops 7 players have a major content drop approaching. Season 1 launches on December 4 and will introduce a large lineup of new features, including new weapons, Operators, additional modes, Warzone updates, and a wide selection of maps. The season will include four new maps, three remastered maps, and two variant maps at launch.
