The Simpsons Have Officially Arrived in Fortnite

The long-rumored Fortnite x The Simpsons crossover is finally live, marking one of Epic Games’ biggest collaborations yet. After weeks of speculation and leaks, players can now experience Springfield’s chaos firsthand in a full mini-season dedicated to The Simpsons.

Epic confirmed the crossover shortly before the end of Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4, following numerous dataminer discoveries hinting at a Simpsons-themed takeover. Those early rumors have proven true — and even more ambitious than expected.

A First Look at The Simpsons Mini-Season

Streamer NickEh30 offered an early showcase of the seasonal content before launch, revealing how deeply The Simpsons have been integrated into Fortnite’s world. From the Battle Pass to the Battle Royale island itself, Springfield has merged with Fortnite in surprising and hilarious ways.

Players can now unlock a range of themed cosmetics through The Simpsons Battle Pass, including Homer, Marge, Ned Flanders, and Blinky Fishstick. Completing Bonus Page Quests also unlocks Springfielder Peely, a parody skin combining Peely’s charm with Springfield flair.

Additionally, players who link their Epic Games and Disney accounts before February 28 will receive Kang and Kodos’s UFO as a free glider — a direct nod to the duo’s appearance in the live event that kicked off the crossover.

A Springfield-Inspired Island

The new island layout fuses Fortnite’s Battle Royale terrain with Springfield landmarks. Players will discover Moe’s Tavern, the Nuclear Power Plant, and the Simpson family home, alongside a variety of smaller Easter eggs referencing classic episodes.

The map also introduces weekly gameplay updates featuring new mechanics, events, and character encounters. NPCs modeled after Springfield residents roam the island — but not all are friendly. Players can face off against new boss characters including Evil Homer, Witch Marge, and Krusty the Clown, each dropping unique Mythic loot when defeated.

The Simpsons Crossover Extends Beyond Fortnite

The collaboration doesn’t stop with Fortnite. Players can also catch weekly Simpsons animated shorts featuring Fortnite characters. The first episode, “Apocalypse D’Oh,” is already available, with new installments releasing every Monday starting November 10.

Each short ties into in-game content, offering players hints about what to expect in upcoming updates to the Springfield island.

A Crossover on an Epic Scale

Epic Games is no stranger to ambitious crossovers, but The Simpsons Mini-Season stands out for its sheer scope and creativity. With Springfield-inspired gameplay, boss battles, and an evolving story across both Fortnite and Disney+, this collaboration shows that Fortnite’s universe is still expanding in unexpected — and delightfully yellow — directions.
