Pokémon GO has confirmed the arrival of Mega Camerupt in a special Raid Day event taking place on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. This marks the fiery Pokémon’s debut in the game as part of the ongoing Mega Evolution feature introduced in 2020.
Camerupt, the Fire/Ground-type evolution of Numel from Generation 3, is known for its volcanic humps that erupt when it’s angry. Upon Mega Evolution, its humps merge into a single volcano-like structure, its fur grows longer, and a gray “M” appears on its forehead. Mega Camerupt now joins the lineup of Hoenn Pokémon with Mega forms available in Pokémon GO.
