Monster Energy has revealed the full list of rewards for its latest promotion with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, launching November 14. This marks another collaboration between the two brands following successful partnerships for Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops 6.
Fans who purchase specially marked Monster cans featuring the Black Ops 7 branding will be able to unlock exclusive in-game items via promotional codes.
What Rewards Are Available?
According to details now live on the official Monster x Call of Duty website, each code unlocks cosmetic items that range from useful bonuses to themed skins. Rewards include:
- Weapon Blueprints for the Peacekeeper and VS Recon.
- Operator Skins, rumored to incorporate Monster Energy-inspired designs.
- Additional Cosmetic Items such as calling cards and emblems.
These rewards follow the pattern of past promotions, where Monster codes provided exclusive in-game items, while the Little Caesars tie-in for Black Ops 6 offered rewards for food purchases.
Carry Forward Feature Removed After Backlash
Beyond promotions, Black Ops 7 has already been surrounded by heated debate. Initially, Activision planned to include the Carry Forward feature, allowing players to bring over all cosmetic items, operator skins, weapons, Double XP tokens, and Gobblegums from Black Ops 6.
However, community backlash over the inclusion of “unrealistic” and “goofy” cosmetics led to a reversal. Activision has confirmed that only Double XP tokens and Gobblegums will transfer between titles.
Competition With Battlefield 6 Heating Up
This year’s release will be particularly competitive, as Battlefield 6 is breaking records even before launch. Its open beta weekends have received widespread praise, with players noting major improvements in gameplay and performance.
Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 faces an uphill battle. The reveal trailer has accumulated hundreds of thousands of dislikes, with many fans openly stating they plan to pre-order Battlefield 6 instead.
Despite the rocky start, promotions like Monster Energy’s exclusive rewards may help keep Call of Duty in the spotlight ahead of its November release.
