Battlefield 6’s upcoming Battle Royale mode has been leaked once again, giving fans a first real look at what the mode may offer when the game fully launches in October.
New Gameplay Footage Surfaces
A 9-minute gameplay video uploaded by a kid with the name bilibili, reportedly recorded during the closed beta, has revealed several new details about Battlefield 6’s highly anticipated Battle Royale mode.
The footage showcases a huge new map, far larger than those available during the open beta weekends in August. Players can be seen selecting loadouts before dropping into the massive battlefield, confirming mechanics tailored specifically for large-scale survival gameplay.
Among the highlights:
- Underwater combat – Players are able to swim, dive underwater, and even fire weapons from beneath the surface.
- Environmental destruction – True to Battlefield’s reputation, the Battle Royale map includes destructible environments, with the leaked footage showing buildings being torn down with a sledgehammer.
- New gadgets and tools – Unique equipment was shown, expanding tactical options compared to the standard multiplayer modes.
Continued Pattern of Leaks
This isn’t the first time Battlefield 6 gameplay has surfaced ahead of schedule. Just weeks ago, leaks revealed the Mirak Valley map, one of the game’s largest environments, and nearly six minutes of footage from Portal mode, where players can customize unique gameplay experiences.
The consistent flow of leaks has generated both excitement and frustration within the community, with many noting that the leaks may undermine the official reveals planned by the developers.
Community Hype Builds Ahead of Launch
Despite the leaks, anticipation for Battlefield 6 remains strong. The open beta weekends in August left a positive impression on players, with many praising its core multiplayer experience.
Interestingly, the renewed interest in the franchise has also boosted Battlefield 2042’s player base on Steam, which recently peaked at over 74,000 concurrent players — surpassing the current count for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which reached 70,000 in the same period.
Release Date
Battlefield 6 is set for full release on October 10, and fans are eagerly waiting to see whether its new Battle Royale mode can live up to the hype — and whether more surprises are in store at launch.
