Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global marks the final and most anticipated phase of this year’s celebratory event, bringing new gameplay mechanics and Legendary content to players worldwide. Among the headline features is the introduction of Adventure Effects for Zacian and Zamazenta—two Legendary Pokémon from the Galar region—available for the first time in their Crowned forms.
New Power-Ups for Crowned Zacian and Zamazenta
Niantic has officially revealed that players will be able to activate Adventure Effects during Pokémon GO Fest 2025 by transforming Zacian and Zamazenta into their Crowned forms and unlocking new Charged Attacks.
Zacian’s Behemoth Blade Adventure Effect
- Zacian must be in Crowned Sword form.
- The Charged Attack Iron Head is replaced with Behemoth Blade.
- Using 5,000 Stardust and five Zacian Candy, players can activate the Behemoth Blade Adventure Effect, which increases attack power for the player’s Pokémon in Raids and Max Battles for six minutes.
Zamazenta’s Behemoth Bash Adventure Effect
- Zamazenta must be in Crowned Shield form.
- The Charged Attack Iron Head changes to Behemoth Bash.
- Using 5,000 Stardust and five Zamazenta Candy, the Behemoth Bash Adventure Effect boosts defense for the player’s team during Raids and Max Battles, also for six minutes.
Legendary Raids and Exclusive Energy
In addition to the new Adventure Effects, players participating in the event will be able to battle Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta in five-star raids. Victorious trainers will earn:
- Crowned Sword Energy from Zacian raids
- Crowned Shield Energy from Zamazenta raids
Both Crowned and original Hero of Many Battles forms of Zacian and Zamazenta will appear during the event, giving players a chance to add all variations to their collection.
Early Access Perks for GO Fest Ticket Holders
Trainers who have purchased GO Fest: Global tickets will receive early access to select bonuses in the lead-up to the event. These perks are designed to prepare players for the Legendary encounters and maximize the impact of the new Adventure Effects.
