As much of the region battles a brutal heatwave with temperatures now exceeding 35°C — and still rising — GamingHQ is issuing a public notice to inform the community about potential delays in response times over the coming days.
While our support system remains fully operational, the unusually high temperatures are affecting the working conditions for staff. Prolonged heat exposure can impact concentration, health, and the ability to maintain normal workflows — especially in environments without proper cooling.
What This Means for You
Players and community members may notice slower responses to questions, support tickets, or requests submitted through our Discord server and other channels. We’re still here, and nothing is offline — but we kindly ask for your patience as we work through the backlog at a more manageable pace.
If you need help, the Discord ticket system is still the best way to reach us. Every message is being logged and will be addressed, but please allow extra time before expecting a reply.
Health and Safety Comes First
As a community rooted in fairness and respect, we also hope you’ll understand that the health and safety of our small team must come first. Sitting behind hot equipment or working long hours in extreme heat is simply not sustainable, and we’re making temporary adjustments to avoid burnout or worse.
We will monitor the situation closely and post further updates if the heat continues to disrupt regular support.
Thank you for standing by us — and if you’re also caught in this heat, drink plenty of water, rest when needed, and keep those PCs cool.
Stay safe,
– The GamingHQ Team
