Frontier Developments has officially announced Jurassic World Evolution 3, the next evolution in its hit dinosaur park management franchise. Revealed during Summer Game Fest 2025, the game is set to release on October 21, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
A New Era of Dinosaur Management
Building on the success of its predecessors, Jurassic World Evolution 3 promises a deeper, more immersive experience for fans of both simulation games and the Jurassic Park universe. One of the most notable additions is the comprehensive breeding system, allowing players to manage, breed, and nurture dinosaur families across multiple generations. For the first time, juvenile dinosaurs will be included, adding a new layer of realism and challenge to park operations.
According to Frontier, players will have access to 75 fully interactive prehistoric species out of a total of 80, with gameplay focused on keeping these creatures healthy, happy, and safely contained.
Two Editions, One Prehistoric Adventure
Jurassic World Evolution 3 will launch with two editions:
- Standard Edition – $59.99
- Base game
- Badlands Set (Pre-order bonus themed after the 1993 dig site from Jurassic Park)
- Deluxe Edition – $74.99
- Base game
- Four additional dinosaur family units
- Bonus skins and scenery
- Badlands Set (Pre-order bonus)
Pre-orders are now live, and fans who act early will get exclusive cosmetic content inspired by classic film locations.
Expansive Campaign and Community Tools
The new single-player campaign mode will span the globe, taking players to exotic locations like Hawaii and Japan. Players will need to navigate complex human-dinosaur interactions while balancing modern-day concerns with prehistoric challenges. Fan-favorite Dr. Ian Malcolm, once again voiced by Jeff Goldblum, returns to narrate the story alongside a cast of both new and returning characters.
Additionally, the game introduces cross-platform sharing via the Frontier Workshop, letting players upload and showcase their parks with the wider community, regardless of platform.
Looking Ahead
With just a few months to go, excitement is building as Jurassic World Evolution 3 looks to be the most feature-rich and ambitious entry in the series yet. Frontier Developments has confirmed that more reveals and deep dives are on the way leading up to launch.
