Rockstar Games has quietly rolled out a subtle but exclusive update to the enhanced version of GTA 5 on PC. According to dataminer @Lucas7yoshi_RS, a new voice line was discovered for the Casino Cashier NPC. Players interacting with the cashier will now hear the line “Just a moment please,” which is not present on the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S versions of the game.
This addition seems to be part of Rockstar’s effort to bring the PC version in line with the latest console enhancements introduced in the Expanded & Enhanced update.
Alongside this small detail, the PC version has also gained access to previously console-only features:
- Hao’s Special Works (HSW): Unlockable high-performance vehicle upgrades.
- Wildlife Photography Challenge: A recurring task involving photographing animals across Los Santos for in-game rewards.
- Career Progress and Career Builder: Allows players to better manage their progression and launch a criminal empire.
- Technical Improvements: PC players now benefit from ray tracing, AMD FSR and NVIDIA DLSS support, faster load times using DirectStorage and SSDs, and spatial audio improvements with Dolby Atmos.
While the new voice line might seem minor, it reflects Rockstar’s continued support for the PC version and suggests more updates may follow to bridge any remaining gaps between platforms.
