Niantic is bringing the Pokémon Horizons anime to life in Pokémon GO with a brand-new event packed with shiny debuts, themed wild spawns, and more. The celebration runs from Wednesday, April 16 at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, April 22 at 8:00 p.m. local time.
New Pokémon Debuts
- Tinkatink, Tinkatuff, and Tinkaton make their first appearance in Pokémon GO.
- Evolve Tinkatink → Tinkatuff with 25 Candy
- Tinkatuff → Tinkaton with 100 Candy
- Floragato wearing a hat with Liko’s pin is also debuting and has a chance to be Shiny.
Event Bonuses
- Team GO Rocket Balloons appear more often.
- 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when placing Eggs into Incubators during the event.
- Increased chance to find Shiny Pikachu (Cap’s hat) and Shiny Floragato in the wild.
Wild Encounters
Look out for these Pokémon roaming the wild:
- Quagsire, Shuckle, Slugma, Nosepass, Snorunt
- Sprigatito, Floragato (with hat), Fuecoco, Quaxly, Pawmi
- And the return of Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat – also available in shiny form.
7 km Eggs
These event Eggs may hatch:
- Elekid, Hatenna, Charcadet, Tinkatink
- Shiny forms possible for Elekid, Charcadet, and Tinkatink.
