Rockstar Uploads New Trailer – But It’s Not for GTA VI

Rockstar Games has finally dropped a new trailer on its official YouTube channel—but before you get your hopes up, no, it’s not the long-awaited second look at Grand Theft Auto VI.

It’s been over a year since Rockstar unveiled the very first trailer for the upcoming GTA VI, confirming the return to Vice City and introducing dual protagonists Jason and Lucia. That trailer gave fans a stunning glimpse of what’s to come: neon-lit cityscapes, chaotic car chases, unpredictable NPC encounters, and even an alligator casually strolling into a convenience store.

Since then? Total radio silence.

With GTA VI still expected to launch this Fall, fans have been anxiously waiting for more—especially a second trailer to give us a deeper look at gameplay, storyline, or anything new. So, when Rockstar suddenly uploaded a brand-new trailer yesterday, the entire community rushed in, hoping for that long-overdue update.

Instead, what we got was… another GTA V trailer.

The video highlights the Enhanced Edition of Grand Theft Auto V, which is now available on PC. While this update is completely free for existing players, it’s clear Rockstar is still squeezing everything it can out of the decade-old title.

What’s New in GTA V Enhanced for PC?

  • Ray-traced reflections and ambient occlusion
  • Global illumination for improved lighting realism
  • Support for NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR to boost performance
  • General technical upgrades to improve visual fidelity

While the update itself might be technically impressive, the fan reaction has been far from enthusiastic. The trailer has been flooded with more downvotes than upvotes, with fans voicing their frustration across social media platforms.

At this point, it’s clear: the community is ready to move on from GTA V and fully embrace GTA VI. Unless Rockstar delivers fresh news soon, they risk alienating even their most loyal fans.

With time ticking down to the rumored Fall 2025 release window, one question remains—where is the second GTA VI trailer?
