Get ready to face the heat! The legendary Fire-type Pokémon Entei is making its Pokémon GO debut in five-star Max Battles—and this time, it’s Dynamax-sized.
The Dynamax Entei Max Battle Weekend runs from Saturday, April 26, at 6:00 a.m. to Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 9:00 p.m. local time. Trainers will get the chance to challenge this colossal Pokémon and gather powerful resources through new bonuses and research tasks.
Dynamax Entei Appears in Max Battles

Event Bonuses
Throughout the weekend, the following event bonuses will be live:
- Max Particle collection limit increased to 1,600
- 8× Max Particles earned from Power Spots
- 1/4 adventuring distance required to receive Max Particles
(Note: You must collect all Max Particles from the Nearby menu to activate this bonus.) - Power Spots will refresh more frequently
Bonus Week: Max Move Discount
Leading into the weekend, an additional bonus will run from Monday, April 21, at 6:00 a.m. through the end of the event on Sunday, April 27, at 9:00 p.m. local time:
- 3/4 Max Particle cost for unlocking and powering up Max Moves

Dynamax Raikou Max Battle Weekend – Timed Research
To help you prepare, a free Timed Research will be available starting Monday, April 21, at 6:00 a.m. local time. Completing this research will reward Trainers with the following:

- Sobble Candy, Max Particles, and more upgrade materials
