GTA V Enhanced Gets Fifth Post-Launch Update on PC – Stability Fixes, Glitch Patches, and More

Rockstar Games has rolled out the fifth post-launch update for GTA V Enhanced on PC, just two weeks after the revamped version hit digital shelves. While the update brings some much-needed fixes, fans are still waiting for more substantial improvements.

A Rough Start for GTA V Enhanced

The PC release of GTA V Enhanced has been met with mixed reception, with many players voicing their frustration over bugs, performance issues, and missing features. The backlash has been significant enough to make it the worst-reviewed GTA title on Steam, a surprising low point for a game that originally released to critical acclaim in 2013.

We previously reported on several of the major issues, which remain mostly unresolved despite a string of recent patches. The good news? Rockstar appears committed to addressing player concerns, with updates dropping weekly.

Update Size and Key Fixes

This week’s patch weighs in at approximately 300–600MB, depending on whether you’re playing through the Rockstar Games Launcher, Steam, or the Epic Games Store. It will automatically download when you launch the game.

While initial patch notes were vague, Rockstar has since provided a clearer breakdown of what’s been fixed:

  • Improved general stability and security for GTA V Enhanced
  • Fixed an “Unavailable – Ineligible Prop” alert when saving races that include the police barrier prop
  • Resolved a bug in the Oscar Guzman Flies Again – Tier 1 Challenge that prevented non-leaders from completing it
  • Fixed an issue charging players when claiming the Karin S95 Migration reward from interiors

Despite these improvements, several major bugs remain, including issues with text chat, which many players hope will return soon—possibly even with Discord integration in the future.

Background Update for GTA Online

In addition to the main patch, Rockstar also released a background update for all versions of GTA Online. Well-known insider Tez2 shared details of the changes, which include:

  • Patched the “Skip Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid Setup Missions” glitch workaround
  • Patched the “Black Box RP” glitch workaround

Still Waiting for Bigger Fixes

The GTA community remains hopeful that Rockstar will continue to deliver updates addressing more persistent bugs and quality-of-life improvements. With the company pushing updates weekly, fans can expect more changes on the horizon.
