Event Details
The partnership kicks off with a limited-time event running from Monday, December 16, 2024, to Sunday, December 22, 2024. Additional collaboration weeks are scheduled for:
- January 20–January 26, 2025
- February 10–February 16, 2025
- March 10–March 16, 2025
During these weeks, players can visit participating McDonald’s locations to:
- Encounter Pokémon drawn to Lure Modules at sponsored PokéStops.
- Participate in five-star Raid Battles at McDonald’s Gyms.
These events are available daily from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
What to Expect
While the full roster of Pokémon featured in the McDonald’s events is yet to be revealed, Niantic has confirmed part of the Raid schedule for December:
- Mega Latios in raids until December 19.
- Mega Latias in raids from December 19–26.
- Giratina (Altered Forme) and Mega Abomasnow appearing in five-star and Mega Raids starting December 26.
Additionally, players participating on December 22 will overlap with the Holiday Part 2 event, offering bonuses like double XP for catching Pokémon and 50% more XP from Raid Battles.
Pokémon GO Tour: Unova
Looking ahead, the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova in early 2025 will feature in-person events in Los Angeles and New Taipei City, inspired by Pokémon Black and White, alongside new storylines and activities.
