Developed and self-published by Keen Games, this indie title initially launched on Steam on January 24, 2024, and has since garnered significant attention for its unique blend of survival mechanics and RPG elements.

Earlier this year, Enshrouded saw explosive popularity during its early-access debut, with a peak of 160,000 concurrent players and over 1 million copies sold within four days. However, the game experienced a steep decline in activity in the months that followed, with concurrent player counts dropping to around 6,000 by late October.
The recent surge in players—topping 42,477 on November 17, according to SteamDB—marks a significant turnaround. This rebound coincides with the release of the Souls of the Frozen Frontier update on November 5, which introduced substantial new content, including:
