Palia Guide: Finding the Old Coins in Bahari Bay’s Flooded Fortress

To begin this quest, follow these steps to find a series of old coins hidden in the Flooded Fortress of Bahari Bay and uncover their secrets.

Step 1: Locate the First Coin

1. Head to Bahari Bay and make your way to the Flooded Fortress.
2. Navigate to the second floor of the Flooded Fortress. Inside, locate the Phoenix Statue.
3. Behind the Phoenix Statue, you’ll find a glowing vase. Interact with it to obtain an old human coin.

Note: Interacting with this vase will start the quest, prompting you to speak with some villagers about the coin.

Step 2: Speak with Villagers

1. Go to Kilima Village and talk to Jina and Einar. They’ll suggest you speak with Zeki at the General Store.
2. Head over to Zeki, who reveals that he found a similar coin in Bahari Bay. He used it on the Phoenix Statue, which revealed a cryptic fortune written on a piece of paper.

Zeki advises you to find the remaining two coins and bring them to the Phoenix Statue for more fortunes.

Finding All Coin Locations

Each remaining coin is also hidden in the Flooded Fortress. Follow the instructions below to locate each one:

Coin #2 Location

1. Return to the Flooded Fortress in Bahari Bay.
2. Head to the north side of the fortress, where you’ll find a platform with water flowing from a sewer grate.
3. Look for another glowing vase on this platform and collect the second old coin.

Coin #3 Location

1. While in the Flooded Fortress, go to the center area where you’ll see several vine-covered columns.
2. Search around these columns to locate a glowing vase containing the third old coin.

Step 3: Return to the Phoenix Statue

1. Once you’ve collected all three coins, return to the Phoenix Statue in the Flooded Fortress.
2. Feed each coin to the Phoenix Statue one at a time. Each coin will provide you with a “fortune.”

Tip: These fortunes might seem cryptic, but don’t worry—they play a role in completing the quest.

Final Step: Talk to Zeki to Complete the Quest

1. After collecting all fortunes, head back to Kilima Village and talk to Zeki at the General Store.
2. Zeki reveals that the “fortunes” are actually advertisements, not mystical messages.

As a reward for your efforts, you’ll receive a Lucky Coin, which you can use in Zeki’s shop.
