Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Announces 249.90 Collector’s Edition Ahead of September Release

As the release date for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown (TDUSC) approaches, publisher Nacon has unveiled a special Collector’s Edition priced at €249.90. Limited to just 2,000 units, this edition is packed with exclusive Test Drive-themed items and offers both physical and digital game options.

The Collector’s Edition includes a variety of high-quality merchandise: a TDUSC-branded baseball cap, a ‘high-end’ leather key ring, an 800mm x 600mm map of the game’s world, and a framed 1/36th scale model of the Porsche 918 Spyder. It also features a pair of ‘luxury’ cufflinks, a ceramic poker chip, a 16-page concept art booklet, a steel case for the game, and a metal Solar Crown membership card, all housed in a special Collector’s Edition box.

For fans looking for in-game perks, this edition offers early access to several luxury cars, including the Jaguar F-Type SVR Coupe, Audi R8 Spyder V10 RWS, Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Maserati MC20, and Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE. These vehicles will be available once players reach specific progression levels in the game.

TDUSC marks the latest entry in the beloved Test Drive series, this time embracing an open-world format inspired by the Forza Horizon series. The game is set in a meticulously recreated 1:1 scale version of Hong Kong. Despite a challenging development process with numerous delays, developer KT Racing has assured fans that the final product will address earlier concerns, such as those noted with the PC-only demo released earlier this year.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is scheduled for release on September 12, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Those who pre-order the game will gain early access starting September 5, 2024. The Collector’s Edition offers not just physical collectables but also a rich selection of in-game content and customization options, making it a coveted package for enthusiasts of the series.

It’s pretty fun to see as well that everyone is now making new DLC packs of a whopping 250 euros. As already stated last time, we will see this happening more often now one company has attempted to flip off their player base.
