Bitcraft – The game you should stay away from.

Several years ago, a new game was being announced to be developed. The game bitcraft was coming to the shelves of any gamer. With loads of backlash and several delays, we thought that it was all over and that the alpha version would be coming any time soon. As everything looked so good ahead, something new has developed. Something no one would have seen coming.

The game bitcraft is an online sandbox survival game that features a mix of crafting, building, hunting, farming, trading, and exploration. The game has been in development for several years and we, as in the community have signed up for the alpha testing back in 2021. Years have passed and recently, the announcement was made that the first alpha release would be in April.

Everyone was hyped about it, but they didn’t tell us the whole story. A new system was created, and we had to make a new account and apply yet again for these codes. But instead of having a code that we have been waiting for for years, we are presented with a panel, where we can mass spam our friends about this upcoming game. You get XP from it and then there is a slight chance you get a key.

It is outrageous how Clockwork Labs is feeding the information to its player base. Every kid wants to be a game tester, but you also have people who do this for a living. We have been waiting in line for years, but clockwork labs broke the promise and went a whole new direction. I wonder if it also would break the promise of not being NFT or cryptocurrencies.

We are more than happy to playtest and report back what needs to be fixed. Sadly, many “testers” are only there as they wanna be the first ones playing the game and not even thinking about doing actual bug reports, while it’s stated that we should report back anything we find. Testers could also not be testers at all, but mod menu makers who are only interested in ruining your game for the rest of your lives. I already have seen this happen before with Deadside & Versus, where a mod menu was created or where the game was completely pirated and cracked.

So, in the end result, if Clockwork Labs were reading this, you just lost a valuable customer. We did not sign up so we could reassign later and spam our friends to have a small chance.
