Goodbye Nintendo Wii U & 3DS

Several months ago, it was announced that Nintendo would shut down its services for the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS. While it’s normal that consoles are ending with their lifecycle, is the Wii u still something that’s been used quite a lot and yes, it would be a bummer if certain elements of the Wii u could not be used anymore.

Two days ago, new users that created a new account on the wii u could not sync their account to the Nintendo servers anymore. Users thought that the date of Nintendo shutting down the services in April and not on the 26th of December. Luckily, it is deemed to be an ongoing bug and it should be resolved by now. If you tried to play online with a new Nintendo account from here on out, it would have reportedly resulted in several errors including an ‘Error code 106-0303’ on Wii U and an ‘Error Code 006-0303’ on 3DS. This is due to new accounts “no longer being synchronized” with servers.
