Pokémon GO Mega Clefable Super Mega Raid Day Arrives November 28 With New Bonuses

Pokémon GO players can prepare for the Mega Clefable Super Mega Raid Day, scheduled for November 28, 2026. The upcoming event introduces Mega Clefable to the game, alongside increased Shiny encounter chances, additional Raid Passes, and a new Charged Attack.

The event runs from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM local time. During these three hours, trainers can challenge Mega Clefable in Super Mega Raids and unlock its Mega Evolution.

Mega Clefable Makes Its Pokémon GO Debut

Mega Clefable will become the fifty-fifth Mega Evolution available in Pokémon GO. Its arrival continues the recent expansion of Mega Pokémon following the introduction of several creatures associated with Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

Players who successfully complete Mega Clefable raids can catch Clefable with Mega Level 1 already unlocked. Furthermore, trainers can eventually power their Mega Clefable up to Super Max level.

Shiny hunters will also have something to look forward to. The event increases the chances of encountering a Shiny Clefable, making it an attractive opportunity for collectors.

Mega Clefable Introduces Moonblast+ to Pokémon GO

One of the biggest additions during Mega Clefable Super Mega Raid Day is the introduction of Moonblast+, an enhanced Charged Attack available when Clefable Mega Evolves.

Moonblast+ delivers 160 power in Raid Battles, making it a potentially powerful option against suitable opponents. Meanwhile, the attack deals 80 power in Trainer Battles.

Additionally, Moonblast+ has a chance to reduce the opposing Pokémon’s Attack by one stage. This secondary effect could make Mega Clefable particularly interesting in battles where reducing incoming damage matters.

The new attack adds another strategic element to Mega Evolution, giving players more reasons to experiment with different battle combinations.

Mega Clefable Super Mega Raid Day Offers Free Raid Passes

Niantic’s Pokémon GO successor operator, Scopely, is also providing several bonuses throughout the event.

Trainers can receive up to six free Raid Passes by visiting Gyms during the three-hour event window. Consequently, players will have more opportunities to challenge Mega Clefable without immediately spending premium currency.

The Remote Raid limit will temporarily increase to 20, allowing trainers to participate in additional battles without visiting every Gym personally.

Furthermore, a special Timed Research opportunity will reward participants with an additional free Premium Battle Pass and an encounter with Metagross.

These bonuses should make the event more accessible to players who want to collect Mega Clefable or hunt for its Shiny variant.

Global Challenge Unlocks Additional Moonblast+ Bonuses

The Mega Clefable celebration also includes a Global Challenge beginning November 27 at 5:00 PM PST and ending November 28 at 8:00 PM PST.

During this challenge, players worldwide can work together to complete objectives and unlock additional rewards.

Successfully completing the challenge tiers will unlock boosts associated with Moonblast+. These bonuses are scheduled to remain active from November 30 until December 13.

As a result, the event offers more than a single afternoon of raids. Players will have additional opportunities to benefit from the global rewards after Mega Clefable makes its debut.

Pokémon GO Continues Expanding Its Mega Evolution Roster

Mega Clefable follows several recent Mega Evolution introductions throughout 2026.

September brought Mega Staraptor, while Halloween introduced Mega Chandelure. Both additions helped expand the game’s growing Mega Evolution roster.

With Mega Clefable arriving near the end of November, the event could become one of the final major Mega Evolution debuts before the Twilight Trails season concludes on December 1.

However, Scopely has not confirmed whether Mega Clefable will be the final Mega Evolution introduced during the current season.

Additional Mega Pokémon could still appear before the end of 2026.

November Remains a Busy Month for Pokémon GO

Mega Clefable Super Mega Raid Day is only one of several major Pokémon GO events scheduled throughout November.

The Wild Area 2026 Global event takes place November 14 and 15, bringing another major celebration to the game.

Starting November 16, Eternatus and most Dynamax Pokémon are also scheduled to return. Meanwhile, Pawniard Community Day arrives November 21, giving trainers another opportunity to expand their collections.

Mega Clefable will then take the spotlight on November 28, closing out an event-heavy month with another significant addition to the Mega Evolution roster.

For trainers interested in Mega Evolutions, Shiny hunting, or collecting powerful Pokémon, November 28 promises plenty of reasons to participate.
