Rockstar Games appears to have started lifting the curtain on the GTA 6 soundtrack, with several major artists seemingly confirmed through a series of social media reveals.
And if this is only the beginning, Grand Theft Auto 6 could end up having one of the biggest soundtracks Rockstar has ever assembled.
The currently revealed lineup includes enormous names from hip-hop, pop, rock, Latin music, and beyond. Travis Scott, Future, Metro Boomin, Morgan Wallen, Keith Richards, and several others are among the artists now connected to the game.
GTA 6 Soundtrack Artists Revealed So Far
The current list of artists includes:
- Travis Scott
- Morgan Wallen
- Future
- Metro Boomin
- CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso
- Keith Richards
- Yung Lean
- PinkPantheress
- Rauw Alejandro
That is already an impressive mixture of genres, and Rockstar almost certainly has much more hidden away.
It is also worth remembering that an artist being associated with the GTA 6 soundtrack does not necessarily tell us exactly how their music will appear. Some could have existing songs featured on radio stations, while others could potentially contribute original tracks, host stations, appear as DJs, or become involved with the game in other ways.
Rockstar has not yet revealed the complete radio station lineup.
Travis Scott Is a Massive Addition
Travis Scott immediately stands out as one of the biggest names on the list.
His music fits naturally into the modern Grand Theft Auto environment, particularly considering how important hip-hop and contemporary music have become to GTA’s radio stations.
Rockstar has increasingly worked directly with major artists rather than simply licensing individual songs. GTA Online expanded heavily in this direction through updates involving musicians, DJs, producers, and entire record labels.
Having Travis Scott involved with GTA 6 therefore opens plenty of possibilities beyond simply hearing one of his existing tracks while driving around Vice City.
Exactly how extensive his involvement will be remains unclear.
Future and Metro Boomin Could Be a Perfect GTA Combination
Future and Metro Boomin appearing on the same list is another interesting development.
Both artists have enormous influence within modern hip-hop, while Metro Boomin’s production style could fit extremely well with GTA 6’s darker nighttime atmosphere.
Vice City will likely have very different personalities depending on where players are and what time of day they are exploring it. Bright beaches, clubs, highways, swamps, suburbs, and dangerous streets all provide Rockstar with opportunities to build completely different musical environments.
Future and Metro Boomin could easily become part of that nighttime identity.
Whether Rockstar has licensed existing material or secured something created specifically for GTA 6 remains to be seen.
Morgan Wallen Adds Another Side to Leonida
Morgan Wallen is perhaps one of the more interesting inclusions because it suggests Rockstar isn’t simply filling GTA 6 with hip-hop and electronic music.
Country music could play an important role outside Vice City.
GTA 6’s Leonida extends far beyond the neon-covered streets and beaches shown throughout Vice City. Rockstar has already established a much larger state filled with smaller communities, rural environments, highways, and wilderness.
A dedicated country station would make plenty of sense within that setting.
Rockstar has historically used radio stations to reinforce the personality of individual areas, and Leonida gives the studio considerably more musical territory to explore.
Keith Richards Brings Rock Royalty to GTA 6
Perhaps the biggest surprise on the list is Keith Richards.
The legendary Rolling Stones guitarist gives GTA 6’s currently known soundtrack lineup some serious rock history.
Classic rock has long had a home inside Grand Theft Auto. Previous games have featured stations dedicated to older rock, metal, alternative music, punk, and other genres alongside contemporary releases.
Richards’ involvement suggests GTA 6 won’t abandon that tradition despite its modern setting.
For longtime GTA players, that should be encouraging.
Rockstar isn’t building a soundtrack exclusively around whatever happens to be dominating streaming platforms in 2026.
PinkPantheress, Yung Lean and Rauw Alejandro Expand the Sound
The presence of PinkPantheress, Yung Lean, Rauw Alejandro, and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso makes the lineup even broader.
PinkPantheress brings a combination of pop, electronic music, drum and bass influences, and UK garage-inspired sounds that could fit perfectly into a modern Vice City radio station.
Yung Lean brings another completely different style, while Rauw Alejandro strengthens the Latin music representation that should naturally be important to a game heavily inspired by Florida and Miami.
CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso add another Latin American influence to the growing lineup.
This variety is exactly where GTA radio has traditionally been strongest.
GTA Radio Is More Than Background Music
Radio stations have always been one of Grand Theft Auto’s most recognizable features.
They aren’t simply playlists.
Rockstar builds fictional stations complete with DJs, advertisements, news reports, parody commercials, talk shows, station identities, and commentary about events happening within the game world.
GTA 5 took this even further.
Its radio selection expanded after release, while GTA Online introduced additional stations and collaborations with real-world artists. Rockstar also experimented with music-focused content through nightclubs, DJs, Dr. Dre’s appearance, and other updates.
GTA 6 gives Rockstar an opportunity to push that system considerably further.
Vice City Sets an Extremely High Bar
There is another reason expectations surrounding GTA 6’s soundtrack are enormous.
Vice City.
The original GTA: Vice City remains famous for its soundtrack more than two decades after its release.
Driving through Vice City while listening to its collection of 1980s pop, rock, metal, new wave, hip-hop, and electronic music became a fundamental part of the game’s identity.
GTA 6 isn’t returning to the 1980s, but it is returning to Vice City.
That inevitably creates comparisons.
Rockstar now has to create a modern soundtrack capable of giving the new Vice City its own musical identity without simply trying to recreate what worked in 2002.
The artists revealed so far suggest Rockstar is going broad rather than relying on one particular genre or era.
There Are Probably Plenty More Artists Coming
Nine artists might sound substantial, but for a Grand Theft Auto game, this could still represent only a tiny portion of the final soundtrack.
GTA 5 launched with hundreds of licensed songs spread across numerous stations, and its musical library became significantly larger through later updates.
GTA 6 could potentially go even further.
Rockstar still hasn’t provided a complete list of radio stations, DJs, licensed songs, talk stations, original music, or artist collaborations.
There is also the question of whether GTA 6 will receive new music after launch.
Considering how aggressively Rockstar expanded GTA Online’s musical content over the years, continued radio updates would hardly be surprising.
For now, however, the names already revealed give us our first serious indication of what Rockstar is building.
And it is a seriously big lineup.
From Travis Scott, Future, and Metro Boomin to Morgan Wallen, PinkPantheress, Rauw Alejandro, Yung Lean, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, and even Keith Richards, GTA 6 is already covering an enormous musical range.
Rockstar still has plenty left to reveal, but the soundtrack is starting to look every bit as ambitious as the game surrounding it.
