The Palworld Official Card Game is already dealing with strong demand, limited stock, and an active reseller market. Now, players will have to wait a little longer for one of its upcoming accessory releases.
Bushiroad has confirmed that Sleeve and Card Set Vol. 1 has been delayed by two weeks. The product was originally scheduled to launch on October 2, but its new release date is October 16, 2026.
The delay comes shortly after the launch of the Palworld Official Card Game, which has already experienced availability problems in several markets.
Palworld Sleeve and Card Set Vol. 1 Delayed
Bushiroad has moved the release of Sleeve and Card Set Vol. 1 from October 2 to October 16.
The company apologized for the delay and stated that it is working behind the scenes to speed up the release process.
Fortunately, the delay remains relatively small. Players will have to wait an additional two weeks before the accessory set reaches stores.
The package includes 75 card sleeves featuring a Pal Sphere design on the back. More importantly for collectors, it also includes several exclusive promotional cards.
The included promo cards feature:
- Cattiva
- Depresso
- Chillet
- Quivern
- Grizzbolt
These promotional cards could make the set particularly desirable among collectors, especially while interest in the newly launched trading card game remains high.
Palworld Official Card Game Had a Huge July Launch
The delay arrives only a few months after the Palworld Official Card Game officially launched on July 30, 2026.
Its first major expansion, Dawn of Palpagos, introduced players to the new card game alongside several Trial Deck products.
Each Trial Deck includes a ready-to-play 50-card deck and one booster pack from Dawn of Palpagos. This gives new players an easier way to start playing without immediately building a deck from individual booster packs.
However, getting hold of Palworld cards has not always been easy.
Supply Problems Are Already Affecting Palworld Cards
Demand for the Palworld Official Card Game has reportedly created shortages at some retailers.
Players have reported difficulty finding booster products locally, while the secondary market has quickly moved in to capitalize on limited availability.
Some booster boxes have reportedly appeared for prices reaching around $175, considerably increasing the cost for players who missed the initial retail stock.
Rare cards have also attracted attention from collectors. Premium chase cards, including the all-gold SSS Cattiva, have commanded high prices on the secondary market.
It is a familiar situation for trading card game fans. When demand exceeds the available supply, sealed products and rare cards can quickly become targets for resellers.
Bushiroad Is Preparing More Dawn of Palpagos Stock
Bushiroad appears aware of the availability problems.
Additional stock is being shipped, while the publisher is also preparing a 2nd Edition reprint of Dawn of Palpagos. The reprint should give players another opportunity to purchase cards without relying entirely on inflated secondary-market prices.
Increasing supply could also reduce some of the pressure surrounding sealed booster products.
However, much will depend on how large the next production runs are. If demand continues to exceed supply, shortages could remain a problem even after additional stock arrives.
Legends Awaken Is Already on the Way
Palworld’s card game is not slowing down despite its early supply problems.
The upcoming Legends Awaken expansion will serve as the game’s second full card set and introduce additional Pals to the growing card pool.
Confirmed additions include characters such as Chillet Ignis and Jetragon.
The planned Dawn of Palpagos reprints are expected to arrive around the same period, potentially making it much easier for new players to enter the game while existing players expand their collections.
Sleeve and Card Set Vol. 1 will now launch on October 16, placing it shortly before the next major stage of the card game’s expansion.
Palworld Card Game Has a Busy Road Ahead
Bushiroad is already looking beyond Legends Awaken.
A third full Palworld Official Card Game set is planned for early 2027, although its name, featured Pals, and exact release date have not yet been announced.
For now, the immediate challenge is availability.
Strong demand can be a positive sign for a new trading card game, but persistent shortages risk pushing ordinary players toward expensive reseller listings. Additional Dawn of Palpagos stock and the planned 2nd Edition reprint should help, provided enough product reaches stores.
Meanwhile, collectors interested in the exclusive Cattiva, Depresso, Chillet, Quivern, and Grizzbolt promotional cards will need to mark a new date on their calendars.
Palworld Sleeve and Card Set Vol. 1 is now scheduled for October 16, 2026.
