Pokémon Legends: Z-A has officially launched, reigniting fan excitement around Mega Evolutions — and now, new leaks are already surfacing for the upcoming Mega Dimension DLC. According to these leaks, the DLC will introduce 16 new Mega Evolutions, including second Mega forms for Pokémon that already had one.
While fans are thrilled by the growing roster of Mega Pokémon, one major omission continues to stand out: Flygon is still not getting its long-requested Mega Evolution.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A Pre-Orders Reportedly Being Canceled
Some players have reported that their Pokémon Legends: Z-A pre-orders are being canceled without clear explanation. These reports surfaced just as excitement peaked for the game’s release, adding an unexpected layer of frustration for fans eagerly waiting to dive in.
Despite these issues, enthusiasm for the title remains high, especially with leaks confirming a major DLC that expands on the Mega Evolution system — one of the franchise’s most beloved mechanics.
16 New Megas Confirmed for Pokémon Legends: Z-A
The leaks, shared by Centro Leaks and later confirmed as accurate, list the following new Mega Evolutions set to debut in the Mega Dimension DLC:
- Mega Raichu X
- Mega Raichu Y
- Mega Chimecho
- Mega Absol
- Mega Staraptor
- Mega Garchomp
- Mega Lucario
- Mega Golurk
- Mega Meowstic
- Mega Crabominable
- Mega Golisopod
- Mega Magearna
- Mega Scovillain
- Mega Glimmora
- Mega Tatsugiri
- Mega Baxcalibur
Among these, Mega Absol, Garchomp, and Lucario will each receive a second Mega Evolution, marking the first time Pokémon with existing Mega forms have received an additional one.
Mega Flygon Still Missing
For many longtime fans, the absence of Mega Flygon is a major disappointment. Flygon has been one of the most requested Pokémon for a Mega Evolution since the concept’s introduction in Generation 6. Despite being an ideal candidate with immense popularity, it was overlooked once again — even as other Pokémon gained additional Mega forms.
With two Mega Raichu variants and new dual evolutions for Absol, Garchomp, and Lucario, the lack of Mega Flygon feels like a missed opportunity. Unless Game Freak introduces more content through events or future expansions, Flygon fans may have to wait even longer for their dream Mega form to become reality.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A’s Mega Dimension DLC is shaping up to be one of the most content-rich expansions in the series, but the ongoing exclusion of Mega Flygon continues to spark debate within the community.
