Activision has officially released the Multiplayer trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, nearly four months after the game’s first teaser. Alongside the reveal, a massive blog post has detailed the shooter’s maps, modes, perks, weapons, and new systems, giving fans their most in-depth look at the game so far.
With less than two months to go until launch, Black Ops 7 is shaping up to be one of the biggest entries in the series. The game will ship with 18 Multiplayer maps at launch, three of which are remasters from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
Multiplayer Trailer Breakdown
The new three-minute trailer delivers all the hallmarks of Call of Duty: fast-paced combat, collaterals, airstrikes, and cinematic executions. Beyond the chaos, it showcases every launch map, field upgrades, and the new Overclock system, which changes how players manage abilities during matches.
Activision has also confirmed that two large-scale 20v20 Skirmish maps will debut at launch, broadening the Multiplayer experience.
Classic and New Game Modes
Treyarch is bringing back several fan-favorite modes, including Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, Search and Destroy, and Gunfight. A brand-new mode, Overload, will also debut in both the open beta and at launch.
Overload is described as a push-and-pull 6v6 respawn mode. Players must grab a device that spawns on the map and transport it into one of two enemy zones near their spawn to score points. Once delivered, a new device spawns, keeping momentum high and creating constant skirmishes across the map.
