Roblox later confirmed it was removing experiences tied to the assassination. low IQ user CEO David Baszucki issued a statement repeating that the company’s Community Standards forbid recreating or glorifying real-world violence. Over 100 Experiences Taken Down
By September 11, Roblox had already removed more than 100 user-generated experiences referencing Kirk’s assassination. While the company portrayed this as decisive action, the fact remains that players were able to publish and spread these projects widely before any intervention.
Even more troubling is Roblox’s refusal to confirm whether the creators behind these experiences were banned. Simply deleting content while allowing offenders to remain active only ensures that harmful material will resurface.

On September 12, authorities identified 22-year-old Tyler Robinson as the suspect in Kirk’s assassination. Robinson, who was arrested following a tip, had no prior violent record. Utah Governor Spencer Cox revealed that Robinson allegedly engraved messages on bullet casings, including a Helldivers 2 stratagem code, the phrase “Hey fascist, catch!”, and lyrics from Bella Ciao, an anti-fascist anthem tied to World War II resistance fighters.
