Modpack Postponed Due to Technical Issues
The development team has announced that the release of the upcoming modpack will be postponed. Originally built on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge, the project ran into multiple problems with mods not functioning correctly, preventing the experience from meeting expectations.
After extensive testing, the decision was made to delay the release rather than ship an unstable version. This ensures the final modpack will be as polished and reliable as possible.
Moving to Minecraft 1.21.1
Instead of continuing on 1.20.1, development will now shift to Minecraft 1.21.1. This upgrade offers greater stability, better support for mod developers, and fewer limitations when implementing planned features.
By adopting the newer version, the modpack will be able to expand further and take advantage of improvements introduced in the latest Minecraft update.
Transitioning from Forge to NeoForge
Alongside the version change, the team is also moving from Forge to NeoForge. NeoForge has emerged as a strong, actively maintained alternative that provides:
- Improved compatibility with modern mods
- More stability during updates
- A stronger foundation for large-scale modpacks
This transition will allow smoother integration of features and reduce the number of technical setbacks that plagued the 1.20.1 Forge build.
Commitment to Quality
While the postponement may be disappointing for those eagerly awaiting the release, the decision was made with quality in mind. By taking extra time now, the team ensures that players will get a stable, feature-rich, and long-lasting modpack experience.
More updates will follow as development progresses on Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge.
