New GTA Online Weekly Update Brings Free Declasse Drift Walton L35

Rockstar Games has rolled out its latest weekly update for Grand Theft Auto Online, continuing the Money Fronts dripfeed with fresh content, challenges, and rewards. The highlight this week is the addition of the Declasse Drift Walton L35, which players can claim for free — but only for a limited time.

Part of the Money Fronts Dripfeed

The Money Fronts update, released in June, introduced new ways for players to expand their criminal empires. Unlike previous business additions, these properties allow players to launder illicit funds into legitimate earnings. Starting with the Hands On Car Wash, players can progress to owning Higgins Helitours and Smoke on the Water, both of which boost profits for the Weed Farm and Air Freight Cargo operations.

Declasse Drift Walton L35 Available for Free

The latest vehicle in the Money Fronts lineup, the Declasse Drift Walton L35, normally costs $1,403,750. However, it is free to claim until Thursday, August 28. To qualify, players must be members of the LS Car Meet — a requirement that will remain in place even when the car returns to full price.

The LS Car Meet, first introduced in the 2021 Los Santos Tuners update, offers exclusive benefits for a one-time membership fee of $50,000. In addition to unlocking access to vehicles like the Drift Walton L35, members can use the test track, access a mod shop, and participate in exclusive races and time trials.

Looking Ahead: Possible Winter Update

While weekly updates keep content fresh, many fans are looking ahead to Rockstar’s next major update. According to datamined information, the Winter update — expected in December — may finally add purchasable mansions to Grand Theft Auto Online. If true, this would fulfill a long-standing community request.
