Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia Take Center Stage in Pokémon GO’s Ultra Unlock Raid Day

Pokémon GO’s summer events continue with a major Raid Day on August 10, as part of the game’s 2025 Ultra Unlock rewards. This special event features the debut of Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia in Raids, giving players the opportunity to catch the Legendary duo along with their powerful signature attacks — Roar of Time and Spacial Rend.

A Reward for Global Efforts

This Raid Day is the final reward unlocked by players during this year’s Pokémon GO Fest in June, where fans successfully cleared every tier of Global Challenges. As a result, Niantic has rolled out a series of Ultra Unlock events throughout July and early August, including the Hisui Celebration and Steel and Scales, each introducing unique Pokémon and bonuses. The August 10 Raid Day marks the final highlight, closing out the Ultra Unlock festivities with a bang.

On Saturday, August 10, from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. local time, players will be able to challenge and catch both Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia in featured Raids. Each encounter has a chance to be Shiny, and both Legendaries will know their respective signature move:

A Legendary Opportunity

Both Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia were first introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and this event brings their distinct forms into the Raid rotation for a limited time. With powerful exclusive attacks and increased odds of catching their Shiny versions, this is a can’t-miss event for collectors and battlers alike.

The increased Raid Passes and Remote Raid limit make it easier than ever to take part, whether you’re playing from home or heading out to your local Gyms. Combined with the additional XP and Stardust rewards, Ultra Unlock: Origin Raid Day is shaping up to be one of Pokémon GO’s most rewarding single-day events this year.

Trainers should prepare their best counters and mark their calendars — August 10 promises to be an action-packed day for Pokémon GO fans across the globe.
