Krafton will showcase exclusive gameplay and developer insights in a special event
Fans of InZOI, the life simulation game that emerged as a strong contender to The Sims, will want to mark their calendars for August 15. Krafton has officially confirmed a special livestream that will give players their first look at Island Getaway — the game’s very first DLC.
The livestream is set to begin at 1 AM UTC and will be streamed for free on InZOI‘s official YouTube channel. The event promises exclusive reveals, never-before-seen gameplay footage, and behind-the-scenes commentary from the development team, offering fans an in-depth preview of what’s to come.
Island Getaway DLC Brings Boats, New Island, and Fresh Gameplay
Although InZOI is still in early access, it has already garnered positive attention thanks to consistent updates and player-focused development. However, many players have been waiting for deeper gameplay content — and Island Getaway appears to be the first big step in that direction.
According to Krafton, the DLC will introduce a brand-new island called Cahaya, where Zois can live, work, and explore. A major feature coming with this update is boat ownership and inter-island travel, expanding the life sim’s world and giving players new ways to experience the game.
The DLC will be free for all players and is already deep into development. While an exact release date hasn’t been confirmed, Krafton previously stated that it would arrive in August. With the livestream on August 15 and a follow-up preview scheduled for Gamescom on August 19, all signs point toward a late-August launch.
Modding Update Delayed to October
While excitement builds for the upcoming DLC, Krafton also recently shared that a planned modding improvements update, originally scheduled for September, has been pushed back to October. Though disappointing to some, the studio reaffirmed its focus on delivering quality content — and with Island Getaway around the corner, fans have plenty to look forward to in the meantime.
Be sure to tune in on August 15 to catch the first full look at InZOI’s biggest update yet.
