Rockstar Games has released a fresh weekly update for Grand Theft Auto Online, introducing a brand-new adversary mode titled Cayo Perico Motor Wars, along with a wide range of double and triple payout bonuses and discounts across various in-game content. The update went live on July 24 and is available now for all players.
Cayo Perico Motor Wars Now Live
The main highlight of this week’s update is the debut of Cayo Perico Motor Wars, a new spin on the classic Motor Wars mode. Set across six fast-shrinking zones on El Rubio’s infamous island, players must battle it out with a range of weapons and vehicles while adapting to shifting tactical scenarios. The goal is simple: survive and dominate.
- 2X GTA$ and RP for all players
- 4X GTA$ and RP for GTA+ members (until August 6)
- Completing one match unlocks the Gold Gun Necklace (delivered within 72 hours)
Players can join the mode via the Cayo Perico Series using Quick Join or by heading to the map blip in Terminal.
Triple Rewards on Buried Stashes and Treasure Chests
Treasure hunters can make a fortune this week with 3X GTA$ and RP on two fan-favorite scavenger activities:
- Buried Stashes – Locate with a Metal Detector
- Treasure Chests – Found while scouting for the Cayo Perico Heist
Both rewards are available through July 30.
