Donkey Kong Bananza Rally Towel Reward Now Available at My Nintendo Store

Nintendo has launched a brand-new Donkey Kong Bananza Rally Towel reward for My Nintendo Store users in the United States. Available now for 650 Platinum Points, the collectible towel celebrates the release of Donkey Kong Bananza, the critically acclaimed 3D platformer that debuted on July 17, 2025.

A New Reward Celebrating Donkey Kong’s Return

More than 25 years after Donkey Kong 64, Nintendo returned to the 3D platforming genre with Donkey Kong Bananza, developed by the acclaimed Super Mario Odyssey team. The game stars Donkey Kong and Pauline on a quest to uncover the secrets of the Planet Core, all while contending with the villainous Void Company. Widely regarded as one of the year’s highest-rated games, Bananza is also positioned to showcase the power of the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 in its first year.

To mark the game’s release, Nintendo has added the Donkey Kong Bananza Rally Towel to its US My Nintendo Store rewards catalog. The towel, measuring 8×12 inches, features Donkey Kong in his updated design riding a mine cart, alongside the game’s logo and signature breakable barrel design.

How to Redeem the Rally Towel

Players can redeem the towel for 650 Platinum Points through the My Nintendo Store while supplies last. Shipping fees apply, and the towel is limited to one per Nintendo account. Like most My Nintendo physical rewards, quantities are limited, so fans eager to add this collectible to their Donkey Kong memorabilia are encouraged to claim it quickly.

More Bananza-Themed Rewards Incoming

In addition to the towel, Nintendo has begun rolling out Donkey Kong Bananza custom icons for Nintendo Switch Online members. The icons are being released in four weekly waves. The first set is available until July 23 at 5:59 p.m. PT, and the final batch will arrive on August 6 at 6:00 p.m. PT. Like other Switch Online icons, these can also be redeemed for Platinum Points.

With Donkey Kong Bananza generating excitement among longtime fans and newcomers alike, it’s likely Nintendo will continue adding themed rewards to the My Nintendo Store in the months ahead. The combination of strong sales, critical praise, and the company’s expertise from previous titles suggests that both 2D and 3D Donkey Kong games could be in development, keeping the momentum going well beyond this year.
