Embark Studios has now released a hotfix resolving the widely shared duplication exploit that recently disrupted ARC Raiders raids and destabilized PvP balance across the game.
The exploit allowed players to replicate valuable gear and consumables with minimal effort, leading to unfair encounters—especially on the PvP-heavy Stella Montis map—where duplicated explosives and equipment overwhelmed normal combat flow.
Exploit Impacted Combat and In-Game Economy
Players reported duplicated weapon blueprints, trinkets, and consumables spreading rapidly throughout raids. One of the most visible problems came from spammed explosives, which removed tactical depth and replaced it with overwhelming force.
Beyond combat, the exploit also threatened the in-game economy. Stackable high-value items—previously targeted in earlier duplication issues—again became a fast source of currency generation, raising concerns about long-term progression integrity.
Emergency Response From Embark Studios
Patch 1.15.0 originally introduced bug fixes and balance adjustments but failed to eliminate the duplication method. Following intense community pressure and rapidly worsening raid conditions, Embark moved quickly to deploy a dedicated hotfix that directly addressed the exploit.
With the fix now live, normal raid balance is expected to stabilize, though continued monitoring will be critical to ensure similar workarounds do not reappear.
Community Trust Now Depends on Stability
Repeated duplication exploits appearing shortly after patches have already strained player confidence. While the rapid hotfix demonstrates active developer response, long-term trust will depend on preventing recurring exploits and protecting raid fairness going forward.
For ARC Raiders, the next few updates may prove decisive in determining whether the community regains confidence—or continues to question the game’s stability.
