PlayStation Plus subscribers are heading into one of the busiest release days of the year, with Tuesday, December 2 set to deliver a massive lineup across all PS Plus tiers. The first Tuesday of every month always brings fresh additions to the Essential tier, but December 2025 is going far beyond the usual monthly offering. Instead of the standard three titles, subscribers are receiving five free games—plus additional releases for Extra and Premium members.
Before the update rolls over, subscribers still have time to claim November’s lineup, which includes Stray, EA Sports WRC 24, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. These can be added to libraries until December 2, after which they will be replaced with the new December titles.
Free PS Plus Games for December 2025
Full List
- Killing Floor 3 (PS5)
- LEGO Horizon Adventures (PS5)
- Neon White (PS4/PS5)
- Synduality: Echo of Ada (PS5)
- The Outlast Trials (PS4/PS5)
This expanded five-game selection is one of the largest monthly offerings PS Plus has delivered in years. Neon White and The Outlast Trials support both PS4 and PS5, while the other three titles are exclusive to PS5.
For players still on PlayStation 4, this shift toward PS5-only releases is becoming more common. Sony confirmed earlier this year that starting January 2026, PS Plus will significantly reduce its PS4 support. Only cross-gen titles will be considered moving forward, meaning PS4-exclusive games are unlikely to appear in the service in the future.
Red Dead Redemption Joins PS Plus Extra and Premium on December 2
Beyond the monthly Essential lineup, Extra and Premium subscribers are also receiving a major addition on the same day: Red Dead Redemption. The classic western is launching with a native PS5 version, offering improved performance and delivering the definitive way to revisit the story.
This standalone release arrives separately from the monthly rotation and will be available to Extra and Premium members starting December 2.
Skate Story Arrives Day One for PS Plus Extra and Premium
Six days later, on December 8, Extra and Premium subscribers will receive Skate Story, a day-one PS Plus release. The stylish action-skating game places players in the role of a skateboarding demon navigating surreal landscapes. Its early release comes ahead of the full monthly update scheduled for December 16.
While Sony has not yet confirmed the complete December 16 lineup, several departures have already been announced. Extra and Premium members who wish to complete any of the outgoing titles may want to prioritize them before they rotate out of the catalog.
