Emiru Accuses Mizkif of Sexual Assault and Blackmail Threats

Twitch streamer Emily “Emiru” Schunk has come forward with serious allegations against fellow content creator Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo, accusing him of sexual assault, emotional abuse, and blackmail threats involving her deceased pets. The shocking claims shed new light on the pair’s previously private relationship, which many fans had only speculated about over the past few years.

Emiru revealed that the two began dating around January 2022, shortly after Mizkif’s public breakup with Maya Higa. Around the same time, she joined Mizkif’s streaming organization One True King (OTK) as a content creator and moved into the OTK mansion in Austin, Texas. She later became a co-owner of the organization. During an October 25 livestream, Emiru confirmed that their relationship ended in early 2025, stating:

“For the entirety of this year, I have attempted to separate myself from him and not talk about him.”

Emiru’s Account of the Alleged Assault

According to Emiru, she decided to break her silence after learning about other incidents allegedly involving Mizkif that mirrored her own experiences. She accused him of sexually assaulting her during a vulnerable moment, saying that the incident began when he tried to comfort her while she was crying.

“He tried to climb on top of me and aggressively shoved his hand down my pants, and I screamed,” she said, recounting the encounter, which allegedly occurred just days after she was assaulted at TwitchCon 2025.

Emiru emphasized that she could no longer stay quiet knowing what she knew about Mizkif’s behavior toward others, saying she felt a responsibility to warn people.

Blackmail Threats and Alleged Harassment

In the same stream, Emiru showed messages she said came from Mizkif, suggesting controlling and manipulative behavior even after their relationship ended. She alleged that he threatened to destroy her reputation by spreading rumors that she had killed her own pet rabbits—a claim she said was based on the fact that several of her rabbits died naturally over a three-year period while they lived together.

“Multiple people have told me that his plan was to claim that I kill animals, and that I killed my own rabbits,” Emiru stated.

She also accused Mizkif of approaching one of her employees at TwitchCon and threatening her to stay silent about their relationship.

Mizkif’s Response Stream

Within hours of the allegations, Mizkif hosted a 40-minute livestream addressing Emiru’s claims. He admitted to some of her accusations, including controlling behavior, such as asking her to dress differently, avoid certain people, and not travel without him.

“This is because I didn’t want her to get hurt,” he explained.

However, he disputed the sexual assault allegation, claiming that the encounter was preceded by mutual cuddling and kissing, and that he stopped immediately after she screamed. Mizkif maintained that he misunderstood the situation and did not intend to harm her.

Mizkif’s Counterclaims About Pet Neglect

During the same stream, Mizkif accused Emiru of neglecting her pet rabbits, claiming he often had to remind her to care for them. He expressed regret over how long he stayed in the relationship and denied stalking her, despite Emiru stating she was seeking a restraining order.

“I hope for nothing but the best for Emi,” Mizkif concluded.

A Call for Support

This ongoing situation has reignited discussions about abuse and accountability within the streaming community, raising questions about boundaries, consent, and the mental toll of public relationships.

If you or someone you know has experienced sexual assault, emotional abuse, or manipulation, it’s important to speak with a licensed professional or reach out to a trusted support organization. Opening up to a professional can be a critical first step toward healing and regaining control.
