The code was issued to commemorate the community’s success in “KILLING” the challenge by completing 571,670 Contracts as Harlowe — far exceeding the goal of 350,000 completions.

While the community enjoys this free cosmetic, Gearbox has confirmed that Borderlands 4 is only getting started with post-launch updates. The upcoming Horrors of Kairos mini-event, themed around Halloween, is expected to introduce new limited-time activities and a major balance patch. This update will address several gameplay issues, notably nerfing Vex’s infinite bleed build and buffing melee builds, ensuring a more balanced experience for all Vault Hunters.
Looking ahead, the first paid DLC — How Rush Saved Mercenary Day Bounty Pack — will release on November 20, kicking off Borderlands 4’s paid content cycle.
