Gearbox has released three new SHiFT codes for Borderlands 4, giving players a limited-time chance to earn valuable Golden Keys and unlock high-tier Legendary loot. Fans will need to act fast, as the codes are set to expire on October 20.
How to Redeem the New SHiFT Codes
To claim the rewards, players must link their game account with the official SHiFT website and enter the following active codes:

These codes were shared by Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford via his X account at around 2:09 PM PT on October 18 and remain valid for 48 hours. Each code grants one Golden Key, which can be redeemed in-game to open Golden Chests located in Borderlands 4’s major settlements: Belton’s Bore, Carcadia, The Lockaway, and The Launchpad.
Why Golden Keys Matter
Golden Keys are among the most sought-after items in the Borderlands franchise. Opening a Golden Chest with one provides a random selection of high-quality loot, including Legendary weapons and gear. Since each key can only be used once per chest, maximizing their use before expiration is key for players aiming to strengthen their builds.
