The team behind Defendia, our custom-built Minecraft modpack, has officially entered the deep testing phase for its upcoming updated version. This milestone brings the community one step closer to enjoying a more polished, stable, and engaging survival experience.
Defendia has been in development for several months, blending challenging zombie survival mechanics with rich questlines and unique progression systems. Since its first public iteration, the modpack has attracted positive feedback for its creative approach to survival and base defense gameplay. However, as with any ambitious project, refinements and adjustments are crucial to keep the experience both balanced and enjoyable.
What Deep Testing Involves
During this phase, our testers are focusing on identifying and resolving critical bugs, balancing quest progression, and improving overall performance. Particular attention is being paid to:
- Ensuring smooth quest progression across all chapters.
- Balancing difficulty to match intended survival pacing.
- Catching any unintended exploits or progression skips.
- Verifying that all custom items, recipes, and mechanics function as designed.
We are also using this opportunity to test server performance under higher player loads, ensuring the modpack can deliver a stable multiplayer experience.

While there is no confirmed release date for the updated version yet, this deep testing phase marks significant progress. Once testing is complete and feedback has been implemented, we’ll move into the final polishing stage before release.
